'95 Q45 engine diagnosis

My 95 Q has 150k+ miles (odometer broken) and before i consider where to put some money into it I want to get an overall assessment of the engine to make sure there are no surprises there. What key diagnostic points would you recommend to give me the best read on overall engine health. Thanks for any help.

A Consult, specifically a power balance test performed by a Senior Infiniti Technician.

The previous posts by Q45tech have a great deal of information on how to perform and record such a diagnosis to get the most meaningful results.

If you spend some time on Q45.org looking at our various articles, that should give you a start.....

Check your igntion timing and ECU codes.. Then ohm your injectors.. That should keep you occupied and give you a good basis...
