Less brake dust is not always a good thing.

Metal Master seems to be the preferred aftermarket pad. I've been wanting to try the EBC "green" pads as well.

i think u should be looking for less squealing. not trying to be sarcastic. i went with the low brake dust and man u could NOT believe the headaches. Metal Master is what i have, works great. no squealing

I suggest using OEM pads for the least amount of squeaking. Also, they work better since they are developed specifically for that vehicle. I remember Dennis saying police officers went back to OEM pads on their Crown Vics because they worked the best.

I used OEM pads on cross-drilled, slotted Bradi rotors (from irotors.com) with excellent results! Note that current model from irotors.com may not be Bradi or Brembo.

The 99 G20 stock front brake setup is the same as the 93-01 Altima setup. 4 lug bolt pattern.

The only [most significant one] downside to the front metal masters is that with drilled rotors you may get some stick/slip groaning at the final stop or first release.

The oem rear pads are the best out there!!!!!!!!!!! bar none.

Make sure what ever pad you get has a FF edge code minimum.....the oem are FE so they fade easier [require more foot pressure] in hot conditions.

Find a shop that does business with World Pac...........they are around $30 delivered to the shop for MM front Q pads.

These are not ideal pads for those of you that live in Northern US as the cold friction leaves a lot to be desired in WINTER.....the oem pads are your best choice there.

Sliding/rolling thru that first stop sign of the day is not a good way to start your drive!
