I bought two remotes off of EBay. I only wanted one, but forgot to turn off my bidding software, so I "won" both.

The problem is that I can't get either to work with my 95 QA. I got the instructions off of the Q45 site and one of the sellers sent me esentially the same instructions. except the one from the seller says insert and remove the key MORE than 6 times in 10 seconds. Any way programing does not work for either.

The FCC ID numbers are the same on all. The 2 I bought off EBay are beeping remotes. The original is not. The case is broken on the original but it does work. The difference I do find is that other than the new ones beep and my original doesn't is that the number on the circuit board that you see when you remove the battery is 907AB4A on the original and 310DB4A on the 2 new ones.

Any hope for a fix?

thanks,aaron

Those are the directions from the Infinit service bulletin...

Note that the cancel switch on the steering column CANNOT be pushed in, and also the trunk switch in the glove box must be ON>....

Make sure you have the right remote, with the correct FCC code on the back.

Call the local Infiniti parts guy, and ask him to run your serial number, and tell you what FCC code you are supposed to have on the remote. There were a couple different codes, over the years.

Have you tried to just program one of the new ones, all by itself? I have yet to get more than one remote programmed, on my silver one, for some reason.

I was unable to re-program my remotes, until I had replaced one of the Local control modules, in the driver's side rear door. It would not re-set the system, lock the doors, or even roll down the rear window until I replaced it. The system will not accept a new remote, unless it can confirm all the doors are locking and unlocking.

Try to do a systems check, on all your modules. The directions are in teh EL section of the service manual. You can check every electronic switch in the car. If it is all good, then you should be able to re-program the remotes.

thanks guys,FCC numbers are the same on all. As I said one of them, the one I got with the car does work. Programing the new ones didn't work. I did follow the procedure, so there must be a problem some where. I will mess with this again in several weeks when I get back from vacation.
