95 Q emergency brake light intermittant on and off

That's probably it. Is your brake fluid filled up to the max line?

Sounds fishy. If the fluid is topped off and the ebrake switch is adjusted correctly, I'd consider a bad master cylinder.

what is the scoop on the master cylinder big job? any up grade? my brakes hit fine maby pedal a little low but my pads are 1/3 to 1/2 worn

I had the same problem until a couple nights ago. The floater is stuck due to old icky fluid. You need to flush your brake fluid. Soon as I did a partial flush, the light went away.

Replace the master cylinder as a complete assembly from Scottsdale. It includes the reservoir and float. About $200.

come on now dont spend my $$ that is comming from someone that spends more than most on his Q added approx 1/8 cup of fluid an wammo no more light maby even less fluid, my screen basket is torn though any fix can i buy just the basket

Several of us mentioned low fluid first. You can buy the strainer separately.

thanks all, weird thing though no leakage level was the sams since i went synthetic in july was just above Min i put it to max

Hope you didn't use DOT5! Preferred fluid is a good DOT4.
