95 Q - coolent temp. sensor - found mystery unplugged Hitachi thing - Help

i went to change my coolent temp sensor (front of motor, under plastic cover 2nd sensor from Left) i found this Plug w/ nothing plugged into it and it led to this Hitachi unit off to the right.by the way i could not get the sensor out, could not get a socket or wrench on it........\

first pic is the cam angle sensor.do you have a 1994 model on your 1995 chassis?

94 had 2 plugs for CAS, 95 has only one.check 67u00 p/n vs. 67u10.

my motor is a JDM take out. blew the origional w/330k mi.so it may very well b a 94 , or did all the JP motors have 2 sensors ??the hitachi unit - has an additional plug comming out of the top which i assume goes to the right bank.any difference between the 2 versions ??

Also how do u get the coolent temp sensor out w/o removing stuff.

You had it almost right, but were using the address of the actual gallery page that shows the picture rather than the picture itself.
