My wife's 95 Q-45 will not fire-up. It was parked one night after running fine and the next morning it would not start. It has a fully charged battery and turns over and seems to try an fire but won't. The car did smell a little rich after trying to start it at one point so I think it's getting fuel. Seems like spark is the problem but I have no idea where to start??? Any Ideas

Did you notice if the fuel pump was whining when the car ran?

Check for fuel pressure. Q45's are notorious for bad fuel pumps. Unfortunatly, If the Fuel pump goes bad, you usually take out the fuel pump control unit as well. This can be pricey. Do a search for fuel pump and control unit. That should be a start.

This is not garunteed but it sounds like the situation to me.

I did not think to listen for the fuel pump. I did shoot a little starter fluid in the intake and the car still did not fire. Would that not rule out a fuel problem?

No, and that is not a wise thing to do.
