Hi, so my dad has the 4X4 Kingcab of this Nissan pickup and the windshield nozzles don't spray anything when activated. Is this a common problem? We'll try to replace the fuse first so I'm asking in advance. Thanks all.

The best way to find out if the jets are plugged or if the pump is dead:

Pull the clear plastic line off the washer nozzle and activate the pump.

If you get fluid spraying the pump is ok and the nozzles are plugged.

The nozzles are made of brass and these can corode from the inside plugging the nozzle solid.

Option 1: You can soak them in C.L.R. and that will usually dissolve the nasty crud inside the nozzle.

Option 2: You can also clean them with a Tip Cleaning tool used for cleaning Oxy/Acetylene welding tips. The wire in the tool is strong and won't easly break if you happen to bend it.

Option 3: The tips are probably cheaper to buy new than option 2.
