anyone know where this wire is so i can cut it? the "door-ajar" light comes on when i hit bumps or turn right, it is getting annoying. i'm 70% sure it is from the hatch.

Had the same problem.Remove the inside rear hatch plastic cover with a screwdriver.Follow the wires to the latch sensor .... near the middle.Yea .... you are looking up and in at a weird angle .... but you neck will feel better.Disconnect the two wires and wrap in tape.This solves the red dashboard "Door Open" indicator .... but now the rear cab lite is manual.

You could also adjust the striker for the hatch so that it closes it tighter... Either that or the contacts in the switch are messed up.
