95 nissan pathfinder electrical issue

We have a 95 nissan pathfinder that when you turn the key on the only power you get is to the little clock backlighting. As well as the head lights work. The vehicle starts and runs just fine. The alternator does not charge the battery though and we just replaced the alternator this evening. Only thing that I can think of is that the remote starter (don't have a fob) is trying to be an alarm. If I unplug the box and plug it back in the lights on the dash flash three times but nothing else. Sometimes you could get everything to work but not lately any ideas??

Ensure the fusible links have not blown.

I cannot find any sort of fusible links!! All I can find is some relays in a little box with 2 15 amp fuses for the head lights
