95 nissan maxima blower only working on high or the 4 postion.

My blower only works on the high postion. Any one have any idea's as to why 1 2 3 don't work. Is this a common problem?

Quite common. You'll need to replace the blower motor resistor which feeds the blower the electrical current for the desired speed.
