95 maxima wont start. help please

i have a 95 nissan maxima. it wont start i had a scan done on the computer and it came up as a bad maf sensor. when i put the new on on it didn't make a diffrence so i had a nissan mechanic look at it and he told me that the transmission had some corrosion on the belhousing wich is causing it not to start. has anyone ever herd of this before?

i replaced the maf sencor changed the gas and put in the new starter and she started right up and runs like a champ!

so you fixed it? before you changed all that while the car was running did your car bog a little when it was cold? i have this problem on cold sometimes off when im at a light whats wrong? plugs wires? fuel filter?

if it is a manual have you checked the clutch kill switch?
