95' maxima transmission compatability?

so with 185,xxx on the odometer the transmission is now slipping at less than half throttle. 'i was wondering if a '96 maxima auto could be mated to the '95 block. i dont know if they changed the trans ecu ...

so the tcm or the ecu for the 95 trans is the same as well, sorry for my newb ?'s im a honda guy this is for my wifes car.
