95 Maxima - replacing head unit and speakers

so my front right bose speaker blew out on my 95 maxima se...thinkin bout replacin it...but i heard that i need it professionally done because of the wires and amps dealing with a complex bose system...same with the head unit...i wonder if its too much trouble...cost of speaker installation in "best buys" is 30 bux and its 150 for the headunit ( just installin it) i want to do it myself but im afriad i mite mess things up...plz help

Really not too difficult for a simple "head-n-4" installation. You will be completely replacing the whole system, so you don't have to worry about using the existing wiring.

Head unit is not hard to install but I didn't have the bose system. Best Buy installs head units for free if you purchase from them, but you have to pay for and additional parts such as a dash kit. Just don't mess up your dash when you pry up your vents on top, I believe there are two screws behind them. Nick
