Hey guys my 95 Nissan Maxima has started to stall at random moments. It won't do it while it is in gear but while idling it does. I have taken it to a mechanic and they have run a diagnostic on it but no luck. Anyone have any ideas??

Depending on how you've maintained it, it sounds like the engine isn't getting enough gas. Have you cleaned the injectors? Checked spark plugs?

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I would think a dirty fuel filter or faulty fuel pump might also contribute to a problem like yours.

driveability usually means 1 of 2 things: not enough air or not enough fuel. i had the EXACT same problem (95 automatic) and went through 4 M.A.F. sensors . turns out, it wasn't the sensor, it was the wires going into the M.A.F. sensor itself. we re-soldered them in & i have had no problems since. its worth a shot.
