i would start with a obd2 scan, even if there is no check engine light, your max is a 95 but should be obd2 (correct me if wrong), if the power train control module (pcm) detects the problem it will point out which cylinder is misfiring. then will need to inspect and test the plug and coil, and injector, a partially clogged injector can cause a lean misfire, Waekon makes a electronic fuel injector probe (WAE 76462), or can do a "pressure drop test" connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel supply rail and compare the drop in pressure when each injector is energized for a few seconds, with the key on, engine off, if an injector shows a significantly lower pressure drop than the others, it is restricted and should be cleaned or replaced. if its the coil Waekon makes a coil on plug ignition quick probe, will detect a dead or misbehaving coil, also a vacuum leak can cause lean misfires, due to extra unmetered air entering the engine, can connect a vacuum gauge, to the power brake booster vacuum line, should get a steady reading of about 16 to 20 inches of vacuum with the engine idling, if the vacuum gauge needle is jumping around, could be a sign of a burnt valve, Lisle makes a nice vacuum gauge for anywhere between 16 to 20 dollars. I would change out the fuel filter if its been a while, located on the firewall next to the power brake booster, make certain to depressure the fuel line first, remove the fuse/ relay for the fuel pump and turn the engine over a few times, once filter is replaced, with engine idling check the fuel pressure, locate the schrader valve on the fuel rail and hook up a fuel pressure gauge, not sure of the specs for the fuel pressure.
