I have read the“KA24E Ticking Lifters Repair” By:Emc-Icon over and over. It’s great but one or two things. First is the bleeding of the reassembled “lifter/rock” appears to be not possible because the check valve ball on the lifter “appears” to be blocked meaning that if you stick a pin down through the hole the top of the check valve is blocked , there is no hole there to depress the ball!
This is not a new motor, its a1995 KA24E.
Second I also read about a possible problem with the reassembly of the rocker arm assembly “clips” not being able to depress on reassembly.
Please IM in the middle of doing this and need help understanding exactly how to rebleed the clean lifters or just idle at 2000rpm for 20 min. to refill them?

This thread is couple months old I know. But is what I did is take lifters out and depress them in a vise. Soak good in some cleaner get all old gunk out. Install 10-20 min idle quite right down.
