95 ka24de into hardbody no turnover...

Hey folks, I'm in the process of swapping a 95 ka24de into my 87 hardbody. The motor is bolted up, harness is rough routed and all the easy stuff is connected, grounding is temp hooked up for the most part. I tried turning the motor over just to see if it would and it wouldn't. Power to the dash, i can hear the ignition relays and accesory relay engaging with the key, then nada, no turnover. I'm going to start working on the permanent grounding and everything but i was hoping for some suggestions about where to start tracking the issue down. I've been looking at clutch interlock and that sort of thing, some of the connectors don't line up and the truck never had the clutch switch. Any suggestions on what would keep it from even trying to turn over would be much appreciated, thanks alot guys.

I'd start by making sure everything is properly grounded and look again for the clutch interlock.
