If your AC is for the 90 it will not work with the 95 unless you have the 90 mounting bracket so hang onto it!!... Pro Dual cams..Pro, lower compression Pro, better support for aftermarket turbo manifolds... um.. Pro, more HP stock then a 90 engine.. Well... all I can think of are Pros ATM...

if you even have the slightest urge to go turbo at some point build the engine before you put it in the car you will be happy you did later...

BTW WELCOME!!!

it's less fun of a swap to do because you're gonna need the ecu and wiring harness for either an S13 DE or an S14 DE, plus the MAF and a few assorted goodies you don't have.

i think i'f youre just trying to gain power or aftermarket support by switching to the DE you will be disappointed

unless you just combine their forces and build up a high compression motor then do it up, but just remember you still need a lot of stuff that you dont have

Also if I'm not mistaken you will have trouble with the power steering lines lining up, I know this is true when swapping an SR into a 89/90 but I could be wrong as I'm not sure about swapping KA's on this particular subject.

Can't you just stick the head from a DE onto an E? I'm sure I read about someone doing it.

supposedly the DE head on an E is way more hassel than its worth. my advice buy another E keep it in your garage and build it up as you can afford to, once you have the head and block built up drop it in, no swapping harnesses or any of that ish... drive your newly bulit E while you save for a turbo set-up

this might help as well http://www.zilvia.net/faqs/archive/SOHCtoDOHC.asp

I swapped a DE for my E after it blew. For about a year I drove with no a/c or power steering. But instead, being optimistic, looked at these things as less rotational mass and decided to build to high compression and 50 shop NO2.
