95 ka transmission in a 97 s14

i have a s14 5 speed swap obd1 transmission and i putting in a obd2 97 s14. can i use this transmission. some people told me that i have to drill something in the bell housing is this true.

Maybe not on a 95 trans. I know nissan incorperated some of the OBDII sensors as a test in the 95 so the hole MAY already be there. What they are reffering to is the crank position sensor. If there is a hole near the top of the bell housing about 3/4" in diameter you dont need to drill.

would the s13 trannys would have this hole on the transmission thanks.
