Well as some of you know I'm putting a SR in my car. A friend of mine threw a rod in his KA so I told him I would put my KA in his car.

The motor cranks and will start but you have to give it almost full throttle and it won't stay running unless you do that. Sometimes it will run without giving it gas. I have everything hooked up right. There's no CEL's. I just don't know where a couple hoses go. If you all could help me out that would be great.

Here's some pictures and video of the car starting.

This is the hose that I don't know where to hook it up to.

I hooked it up like this but the car still did the same thing.

Here's video of it starting. You can tell when I let off the gas at the end when the RPM's drop.

For some reason I cant embed it, so heres the direct link.http://s20.photobucket.com/alb...0.flv

Might Need A 96 ECU.

Remember Auto And 5-Speed ECU Differ.

Your ECU Could Have Been A OBI And His OBII.

Just A Suggestion.

Yeah, I know they differ. Mine is OBDI his car is OBDII. But I'll try the other ECU and see what happens.

Anymore ideas? I'm going to be working on the car tomorrow and hopefully I can get it to run right.

Possibly. But if I put the OBDII ecu on it's going to look for all the stuff that's not there. I don't know if it will run any better because there will be so many sensors that aren't hooked up. But I'm going to try it tomorrow and see what happens.

Thank you. I guess I'm just going to have to try and figure it out. The worst part is, It's not even my car! I can't put my SR in my car because I'm having to deal with this car.
