is there any way to adjust the timing on my car? i can tell the timing is off

How were you able to tell the timing is off?

The Crank Angle Sensor is what conrols the timing.

Sure its not a bad knock sensor retarding the Timing by design ??Have to pull the code to know for sure as it does NOT cause the check engine light to come on.

thats what i was afraid of. i got another crank angle sensor from a pick and pull dimantlers. and my mech. said the knock sensor was going out. the sensor is on the block and i would have to pull intake off to get to it.

It can be relocated. Do a search for that and you will see the locations.

is the knock sensor the same as a detonation sensor? i found a link you posted yoda for a z32 detonation relocation. is it the same on the j30?
