have had a hand me down 1995 j30 for about 2 years and been running great. last month noticed a lack of power from dead stop. no warning lights or stalls. heavy rain the other day and got in car after work to find water dripping in from sunroof, landing mainly in the shifter area. i stopped to get gas as i was very low and went on home everything seemed ok other than the water mess. next day i backed the car out of the carport to let the sun do some drying work for me, now my baby wont start.

it cranks but wont start

i was listening for the fuel pump and didnt think i heard anything on the first day but today i could hear it prime for sure and the car sounded a little closer to starting. any help greatly appreciated

Check to see if the ECM (behind the passenger side kick panel) is wet and pull codes while you are in there?

Clear the sunroof drains too.

Your sunroof drains are clogged.

When you open the sunroof you'll notice two drain holes on each side towards the front of the car.

You can clear them:

(a.)using compressed air(b.) weed whacker line

be gentle with either method. The venturi's get brittle with age.
