95 J30 hard to start !! please help

hello to everyone i am new here ! i have a 95 j30 that is hard to start and when it does start it idles smooth but when you give it the gas it will not rev up over about 1200 rpms when it gets to that rpm it sounds like it is hitting on a rev limiter and if i let the car go back to an idle it will idle smooth all day long but if i shut the car off it very hard to start again !!( no check engine light )

Have you pulled codes from the ECU? It will help narrow down the problem.

ok went in today and there are no codes ! But i noticed coolant from the radiator leaking so i checked the coolant level and it was very low !! (radiator was cracked ) i am installing a new radiator tomorrow! i also got the car running and it ran good for about 10 minutes then went back to fail-safe mode (1800 rpm)is as far as the car would rev .could the coolant temp sensor cause this ?

got the car fixed.Badwas what i call cam sensor or distributor what have u ! Car is back on the road !!!!
