I would look for any connectors you may have missed or clamps, try wiggling some things... A pin may be mismatched in a connector... don't know if these have MAF's .... How's the fuel filter?littlewillie wrote:Good Evening,I just finished replacing the 2 PCV valves on the 95 J30. Everything with good….except. The car will start & idle perfectly. When the throttle is added, there is a lot of hesitation & the engine will not spool up to the proper RPM’s. Did you disconnect any air intake lines? sounds like a big leak...What else did you remove?
Back to the PCV valve change. On the passenger side, I removed the 2 gas lines to get to the PCV easier. One had pressure & one didn’t. That is normal, one goes back to the tank, one goes to the injectors I think I have air in the line & I don’t know how to remove it. It will bleed itself when you start it.
I have used the search function & I didn’t find anything. I did find several threads about removing the fuel pump fuse & starting the engine to relieve the fuel pump pressure. Does doing this apply to my situation? Will someone help me out with this? This is something that's done to relieve the pressure you mentioned above. So gas doesn't spray around.
Thanks…..Willie You're Welcome! I'm not a J30 guy but...
