95 j30 ABS noise
Hi,New to the site. Seems to be full of knowledgabe owners.I ahve a 95 J30 that is puzzling. I got home last night and when I turned it off there was a noise coming from under the hood. When I located it it was part of the ABS system. Located on the passengers side, against the fire wall is the ABS acuator or pump I beleive. The only way I could get it to shut off was to remove the battery cable. I had to leave it alone for the night and the nest day. I have now reconnected the cable and seems normal. I'm thinking all I have done is clear what ever has caused it. Anyway anyone ever encounter this before? If so give me a idea of what it is and what needs to be done.Also have clunking coming from front end. I was told that the strut mounts are shot. Seems to clunk at end of stop and at time of releasing brakes to take off. Any ideas and remedies on this one also?Thanks for any and all info.

For the ABS problem go to Carlos' website http://www.fuzzycats.com and locate the ABS pdf in the do it yourself section. As long as you didn't burn the ABS pump, its an easy 5 to 10 minute do-it- yourself fix, all you need are the one or two sensors from your local Infiniti dealer.
