The 95 harnes will work, but do either 2 things.1) swap intake manifolds, and use the 95 manifold. YOu may however run into problems with this seeing as how the computer may react funny to the different harness. Most of the time, the comuter is designed to read only the harness that goes with it. 2) start pluggin stuff up, youll notice that a few things are different for you harness. one being the tps...youll have to switch the throttle bodies to get this to work, the tps's arent the same...so you cant get by juts swithing them out, they bolt up differently. Also, you will have to use the 95 coolant temp sensor to get it to mate with the harness. This, of course , is if youre ecu will accept the 95 harness' readings. Be careful. The difference is resistances, and ohms could possibly fry your ecu. Doubtful, but I dont get surprised by anything anymore with these cars.
