Good day to all...long time reader here.

I have been haunted by a problem ever since I started driving my truck. The best way to describe it is as a pause while I'm accelerating. However I seem to hear it once in a while when I'm just cruising along. It is most noticeable from 2-3 with a bit of load on it. You can hear it in the engine, and see it on the tach. It pauses for a split second, then continues.

It doesn't seem to do it when the revs are past 3000. Here is what has been done:

Maf, TPS, Distributor, Wires, Plugs, Fuel Filter, Timing belt, New fuel lines, transmission flush and filter, vaccum lines checked, and all the plugs seem to be burning nice and clean, all of them were consistent. Fuel pressure has been checked and is ok. I checked all modes for the codes, and all was good. I probably forgot some stuff, but as you can see I tried just about everything.

I'm down to taking to the dealer (ahhhhhhh) for diagnosis and take it from there. I read somewhere on the internet that someone had the identical problem as mine, but it was with a Maxima.

Thanks a lot.

Oh, and my OD doesn't work either. I checked the switch itself and that works. Am I missing a fuse or anything maybe? If it is the OD cut off solenoid, is that located on the side of the transmission?

thanks again
