Hey, i have a 95 hardbody, 2x4, automatic with ka24. I've only been driving it for a few months so im not sure what kind of mileage it used to get. I do, however, know that it gets average highway mileage, but when it comes to regular driving, it get terrible mileage. I live in central Long Island so it's not exactly city driving, but i do deal with a good amount of lights, etc. The air filter is clean, the fuel filter is new, and I just recently put fuel injector cleaner in it. The plugs didn't look to bad, although I am going to change them soon anyway. Any ideas on what could be causing this would be very much appreciated.Thankssean

i havent really measured exactly since i do alot of both, highway and "city", but i can say that my trip to school, i use about 1/2-2/3 as much gas if i take the parkway rather than, um roads with lights and light traffic. Do you know their stock gas numbers?thankssean

wow 12-14 sucks pretty bad, why does it get so much worse than a 240, gearing or something?

Yea I understand that. But there are 2 different chassis for the 2wd truck. There is the lower chassis and then the 4x4 chassis with out a front diff or transfer case.
