95 Engine In 91 Q

i HAVE A 95 ENGINE I JUST PUT IN A 91 Q AND NEED TO KNOW IF THE COMPUTER FROM THE 91 CAN RUN A 95 ENGINE THE HARNESS IS THE ONE FROM THE 95 AND ALL THE CONNECTIONS FIT , IF IT DOES THAN WHAT ELS DO I HAVE TO LOOK OUT FOR OR DO I HAVE TO GET A NEW COMPUTER?

Can you give us a write-up sometime about how you swapped it?Its not unusual for members to want to put in a 94/95 engine into a 90-93, but often they dont when they hear about the difficulties involved.

I'd think a new ECU is in order but this sounds like a DAEDALUS/Dennis question....

I would think it would be easier faster cheaper to weld a 95 front on a 91 Q so many differences.Heck you can get a nice 94-95 for $8,000
