looking to see if anyone has done one before converting from FWD to RWDi have just about every last part from a 240sx and have a welder and cutting torch and am about to convert my car but have a few questions on the best way to do it and which would be the most effective for a drift capable car when done

I do not think this can be done for many reasons. not trying to be negative but it might be cheaper to buy a 240

i agree with evografix. its not worth the trouble. u will also nedd good engineering knowledge to modify and reinforce the chasis to handle the compressive forces from the rear wheels. The structural members in the FWD design that are in tension while accelarating will now be in compression when in RWD. this could ultimately make your car heavier.

but if you do it right you can have something really unique and potentially be a good sleeper.

maybe i shouldnt encourage this but...

1) It has been done - http://www.locustom.com/rwd_altima.htm

2) australia - these cars are AWD.....maybe you should just import one XD

have fun either way man, if you break something in the process, junkyards are like 33% altimas anyway XD
