my friend has a pre 96 altima with a obd2 hook up. anyway, the cel is on and we get a po335 which i think is a crank sensor circuit malf. first, i dont believe the ka24de uses a crank sensor does it? and second, when i was trying to use alldata to look up codes for this vehicle they were all obd1 codes. any suggestions?

It does have a crank senor but its in the distributor. Cam and crank are in the same sensor for the altima. pull the distributor cap off then the rotor and pull the black cover off. If oil comes pouring out or there is a hint of oil in there you need to replace the distributor as there is no reseal kit available for it. Its about 500 bucks through the dealer.
