95-98 240sx Question

Hey everyone im 17 new to the board and i have some questions. I have mainly been into domestics but i have always liked imports, my cousin has a 93 rx7 tt, and a friend has a 91 mr2 (swaping out the engine for a turbo engine) and ive been trying to find a 240 cause i have always liked them and i found some on autotrader but none are turbos and i was researching to see if i could take a turbo kit and put on it. But the turbo kit i found was a Greedy turbo kit that says made for the KA24DE engine and i havent been able to find out what engines are in the non turbo 240's. So any help you could give me i would apprieciate it. Thanks

that is the non-turbo 240 engine.. the one that is most commonly turbo'd (upgraded anyways) is the sr20det which is from a couple of different nissans. most popular prolly with the silvia.

But to answer your question. People do engine swaps like SR20DET and CA18DET are the most common ones. You would have to get these engines imported.

If you want to turbo the engine in the USDM car KA24DE then there are alot of ways to do it. Visit the KA-T section for more info

stock 240sx engine is ka24e(89-90) and ka24de(91-98) there was no stock turbo 240sx in the us. i will move this to the 240 forum.
