I'm just wondering what the interior, exterior, engine and any other differences are between these two models and if they have a great siginficance on the performace of the car after an SR swap.

another reason i ask this is because (if im correct) most of the newer models already have LSD's and the head/tail lights look nicer and the 97-98's are to expensive for me and would like to have those things in the car.

I'm just gonna ask in this thread... are the inside door panels the same for both? not the handle... the part you use to close it. my passenger side is broke and i can't find anything but 95-96 in the junkyard

95-96 (zenki) differ from the 97-98(kouki) in a couple areas...

1) front end is different, aka fenders, hood, lights, bumper, etc...

2) the tailights are different

as far as inside trim im not sure...

but i know there are more 95 240s than 96,97, and 98 combined...

Interior has VERY minor differences. Slightly different gauge cluster and I think the power mirror switch is a little different. Check out the blinking search button though, this has been covered more than a few times.

And no, there are no performance differences.
