I have a 95 240sx and it ran fine until last week. First my car suddenly had this extremely low idle and then it dies off. I saw somewhere it had to do with the aac so I retaped it, but I'm not sure if it was the thing right next to the oil filter. Then my batteries die off so I jumpstart it, but mistakenly put the jumper cables on opposites ends causing a huge spark.

I went out to buy a new battery, but then the car still wont start. So I checked the fuses and 2 blew out I guess during that jolt. So, I replace the fuses that blew out mainly fl100 and fl15. However, now my battery light goes on and my security alarm light that little red led on top of the radio does not light up. What can I do? The car cranks and it almost wants to start, but then stop. Please help.

Yikes. Sounds like a crappy chain of events. There may have been a single issue that was compounded by all the other events. First. I'd disconnect the battery and leave it to cycle the ECU. Check again for blown fuses, check inside the alarm fuse box if you have an aftermarket alarm. Check to make sure you put the spark plug in properly, and have the cables in their proper positions, and firmly seated. Reconnect the battery. I doubt any of that will solve the problem, but it's worth a try since it's free. PEACE. Tek.
