OK before you think I have lost my mind I haven't.
The ignition switch was going bad ( the electrical side) and I thought that was the problem. It started just fine several times then you turn the key and nothing. All the dash lights are on and turn the key ......... no starter , not even a click.
I opened the door to listen more intently and the car started. I thought it was just one of those things and drove the car around. The next time I went to start the car, getting in , shut the door, turn the key and...... nothing.
I then opened the door to listen and the car started. I turned
the car off and shut the door , turned the key and nothing. I opened the door and turned the key and yes it started.
I am asking if anyone could shed some light on this as I am lost as to what to look for next.
