95 240sx wiring questions with s13 sr20det.

I have some starting issues with my 95 240 with a s13 sr20det engine. Well I went ahead and pulled the main harness that was in the car and I am going to swap another one in. The reason I am doing that is because the one I had in the car was a bit shady to me, there were some wires hanging out of the blue connector that goes to the ECU. On the other one that I will be swapping in, I have a wire that is coming out of the #8 spot from the blue connector that goes to the ECU. Its the #3 Ignition. At least thats what it says on this website http://www.kouki.co.uk/referen...nouts . Now does this wire have to go anywhere? If so where? All the other wires are good on the connector that goes to the ECU. I am hoping this is going to get my engine to start because the starter is not turning over. No clicking..but the starter does get power. I want to rule out the main harness first before I start messing with anything else.

The starter has been taken to Oreillys (local auto parts store) and tested and it works. relays have been changed out and the fuses have been checked. tried 2 different transmission harness and still nothing. Its like the signal is not getting to the starter.

after doing some more research and finding this actual picture:

it seems like there is nothing that needs to be plugged in the #8 spot. I do have a J4 ECU. so hopefully this is correct. I'll just try it out tonight if I get a chance to work on it and see if this works.
