im down to these 2 to buy. the prelude has 100,000 miles and it is auto for 4400. the 95 240sx is the se as they say, i dont know how to check it, and it is 2500. which one should i buy? i know its a nissan forums but which you think honestly is a better buy? i know the 0-60 stock is aobut 8 sec vs 6.2 ish. whats the potential of getting these 2 cars faster for cheap and reliably? as these 2 cars are over 100g miles. what are some things i need to check with the 240 besides the timing belt and rust? thanks all.

If I were you id get the 240. With the money you save turbo the ka or you could swap it out for the sr20 and then you would have a better 0-60 time

Btw the 240sx uses a timing chain not belt. And look for rust in the wheel wells and underneath the doors as well on the frame rails hope this helps

Get the Honda. We don't need anymore fanboys over here.

Plus, the Prelude's H22 is much more powerful than the KA in stock form. Meaning you don't need to swap motors for more power. And you'll have a huge array of cheap upgrades available just because Honda's are cheaper to work on than our 240's.

I agree

Stock Lude or a Stoke 240 then go Honda

If you plan on engine swapping then go for the 240sx.There is NOTHING in this world like a rear wheel drive ride...
