Help me please. I'm very excited about tweaking my 95 240sx SE, but have not idea where to start and are not very knowledgeable on cars. I want horsepower and control without breaking the bank too all at once.

What are the first things to add, replace, or upgrade?Intake system? What kind is best for my car?Springs? What kind is best?Ignition Wires? What kind is best? What else?

intake - i think most would say the Injen intake with the cold air extension. trust me, its worth every penny for the sound you get. springs, most go with eibach springs. either the pro-kit or the sportlines. i've got sportlines. plug wires, alot will say HGK and Nology. those are both good i think. me? i think i might go with the ones from PDM racing. well there's you a start. anymore q's?

about 120-150 for the intake, about the same for the springs, i think and not sure on plug wires. If anyone wants to give more specific numbers, go nuts.

As far as spending money for an intake for getting the sound, I say poop on that. If you don't wanna spend money at all, just take your air resonator box out. That gives you the same sound as the intake would. Might give you A horsepower if you are lucky. I would just get the intake though if you are looking for some power. That and an exhaust. Exhaust will really help in the high revs where it falls on it's face now.

I would take the money you spend on springs, and get some coil-overs instead. I have talked to quite a few people who wish they would have done coilovers rather than springs. It's nice to have adjustability. Plus, if you get a set of Ground Controls you can get custom spring rates. If you get springs, you are stuck with one spring rate and one height.

Plug wires aren't gonna be that much different between brands. I would say NGK though. They make good plugs as well.

the cold air extension will cost you some more. and i have never seen the intake for 150, much less 120. i think i have seen injen for like 200 maybe? thats the cheapest i have seen.
