When I hit the clutch and try to start it nothing happens, I grabbed a new battery from a different car still nothing. I know my starter is good and have been looking for a fix as I want to sell the car too.
Latest search has me thinking it could be the neutral safety switch? Any help will be appreciated.

Random notes : Car has been sitting for some months that's why I borrowed a battery
Previously car would sometimes take me hitting the clutch 2+ times to start and on a few occations has taken minutes to start

Your car doesn't have a neutral safety switch. Did you mean a clutch switch?

there is a little tab that slides on the the starter, thats what my problem was, clicked once but wouldnt start. i completely forgot about this when it happened to my sr. but i remember having the same problem when i had my ka. if this is your problem its a little plug that slides on this tab and doesnt really lock in, so zip tie it for extra security

Yeah you might want to try and clean the terminals going to your starter... mine acted up for a while when they had a little corrosion on them. I pulled them off, hit them with some sandpaper, put it all back together, and it was good.
Just remember to disconnect your battery first. There's a LOT of amps going to that little sucker.

The other thing to look for would be a bad clutch switch. You can bypass it pretty easily. Do a NICO/google search if you can't figure out how.
