Sounds like a pretty straight forward operation, before I begin has anyone ran into any problems putting a new one in? Anything tricky?

Count the turns as you take it off so you can install the new one in the same spot. Also to get it to pop out of the steering knuckle once you remove the castle nut, use a pry bar to put outward force on it while you strike the knuckle on the tie rod mount with a hammer.
