My blower motor only works when I have the dial set all the way up on my 95 240SX/SE. I tried to check the wires with a diagnostic light, but that was no help. Could this be the motor or the switch? Where can I find some diagrams as to which wires are what?

typical failure. replace the blower resistor. it is located near the passenger feet area. should be a flat 4 wire brown connector plugged into a plastic peice held in with 2 screws. remove the 2 screw slide it out. it has a flat blade on the inside.

Might be a good idea to replace the blower motor also, they tend to bind up in the bushings and cause extra draw through the resistor and burn it out .

Well, the resistor costs around $20, and the motor costs anywhere from $100-250. So I will try the reisistor first and go from there. Also, if this makes any difference, it worked fine until I towed the car from Michigan to Texas (on a full car carrier from U-haul). After that is when it only ran on high. Could it be something else totally? Maybe something vibrated loose or anything?
