My alarm is F***ED up! If I unlock the pass. door first everyting is fine, but if I unlock the drivers door first the alarm goes off. When I got the car the drivers door would not even unlock from the outside so I took off the door panel and reattached the bar.Now it will unlock from the outside but the alarm goes off. It really sucks if I forget about it and unlock the drivers door first in a parking lot. Anyone know what the problem is? Is their a wire I needto hook back up? It is the factory alarm. Any help would be great. thanks for your time.

****..........

My mum gave me my 240 a 95 just like yours. No key pad to enable/disable alarm, unlock doors, or open trunk. My ignition key does not open my trunk, or passenger door. Only the drivers side. Sooooo, I go to work on the car, replace the water pump, plugs, plug wires, rotor cap, and button, oil change, etc, etc..... I unhook the battery......

When I go to hook it back up, oh ****!!!! This alarm is screaming and I can't turn it off!!! Can't find a kill switch or anything........ Needless to say I searched high and low for my kill switch, and it is there. Driver's side, right near the bottom of the dash, in front of the fuse box.......

It'll have to remain off until either I take $88 to the dealership to have them hook me up with another alarm pad to cut this off and on. Or I get an aftermarket alarm to replace this one...........

BlackBelt........ I am comin up thru your way soon. Up thru Chatt to Murfreesboro on Saturday to pick up my header from a guy up there.

Thanks I may unhook it then, but I really wanted to fix it. I guess I need to take off both door panels and compare.

There should be a small switch on or near the lock cylinder that is pushed when the doors are locked or unlocked. If this switch is not pushed, the alarm will go off. You may want to pull both door panels and compare though.
