'95 240sx power steering noise

when i turn the wheels i have noticed a whining noise coming from the pump. it sounds like your running a pump dry but it has plenty of oil.

i have the same problem with my 95. i have been wondering the same thing. i cant figure it out

If you're sure you have the right amount of fluid in it, it could be going out maybe.

when i had a leak in the power steering system, the fluid level could be slightly under the full mark and the pump was noisy.

top off the fluid and turn the steering wheel left to right all the way several times.

is the fluid bubbling up in the reservoir?

i have the same problem but when i turn the wheel it seems like the noise is coming from the front right, probably the wheel. Ive check the P/S fuild and its full and bubbling.
