Hello everyone. Have a problem that I have been about to pull my hair out over. I have 95 240 that will not start. This is what happen to lead up to the problem. I just finished installing a new head unit and was playing around with it and drained the battery to much to turn the car over. So I hooked up a battery charger to the battery and let it charge a little. When I turn the car over then it turned over a little but not ebough to fire. The charger has a cranking start option. When I switched it to that option the car turned over to start and then all hell broke lose. I heard a loud clicking noise coming from the fuse panel box on the drivers side and my digital clock went blank. I found the fuse for it (with some help from some on here) and replaced it. The Clock is working again and I changed the battery for a new one. Now when I try to crank the car nothing happens. I have checked all the fuses one by one and have just checked and the relays in the fuse panel and they are all fine from what I can tell. I can hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key but nothing when you try to start the car. Its also a manual if that helps. Any help with this would be great or if there is anyone in the Birmingham,AL area that would be willing to take a look at it would be awesome. Thanks Guys

Do you have an alarm/immobilizer in the car?

Don't use the start on the charger. Charge the battery completely. And try again.

No there is not an alarm on it. And I have put a brand new battery in it and still nothing.

Thanks guys. I found the problem. The little rubber grommet on the clutch pedal fell off. A 5 cents rubber grommet was kicking my butt. /sigh
