hey everyone. Would a 95' 240sx ka24de engine and transmission fit into a 91' fastback? Would there be any problems I would encounter, especially with emissions? I found a 91' fastback I wanna buy and the seller says that one of the cylinder's compression is at 90 psi. He also says that the auto transmission will only move the car for a couple minutes, so it would have to be towed. No problem. I have a 95' S14 that was in a minor front end fender bender and I plan on transplanting the engine and transmission from my S14 into the fastback. Both cars are SE. Thanks in advance

also, the 91' has a redline of 7K rpm and the 95' has a redline lower than that I think. Would a have to swap out the cams before I decide to drive it hard or should it not be a problem? Would I also have to swap anything else like ecu's, manifolds, sensors, etc? Thanks

Yes it can be swapped.

Thanks. Would I need to switch ecu's because of the redline prob? I don't want the engine to blow up when I floor it. I might just switch the cams if it's easy, I heard the 91' cams are more aggressive.

there are a few things you need to transfer over from the s13 ka24de engine to the s14 engine to make it work with your stock s13 harness and ecu. should be fairly easy to swap over and run without problems. i just read a couple of threads on this topic a couple days ago when i did a search on it *hint*

That shouldn't be a problem, but what I'm really worried about is the difference in the redline.
