95 240sx : climate control blower only works on high.

95 240sx - My climate control only works on the highest setting. Do I need to replace it, or is there something else I should look at first?

Blower resistor is blown. it is in your heater box. held in with 2 screws near your glove box area.

Finally!!! i can fix mine too, i've had the same problem for 2 years now!!! thanx nistech!!!!!!

keep in mind the blower resistor usually blows out due to a high current draw from the motor. It can take a yr or so of use before it would blow again or it could never happen as something may have been in the squirel cage dragging it down and now its gone. When you go to replace the resistor drop the motor out of the box and make sure nothing is in the cage.
