95 240sx charging system!

hello all, My car is having an issue with keeping the battery charged the alternator is new and the runs great when the battery is charged. Does not bog or die when the car is running and the battery is disconnected so thats why i would say the alternator is not the problem, but i could be wrong.Anyone know what would be the problem, I have 95 240sx.

We always hope that new alternator will function properly... but sometimes new ones have defect. Regulator maybe not good on the alternator.

Also... battery... how old is the battery and what condition is it in?

Get it to a garage and do a load test on it.
