I just bought an auto transmission and wondering how long would it take to swap it out. Plus, I am working under the car instead of shop lift. What recommendations you guys give me to get ready for the swap? I prepared myself with air compressor, engine hoist , tools , jacks, and jack stands. Also, does anybody knows where I can get instructions online to change the transmission. Thanks.

you're pretty much set with the tools depending how mechanically inclined your are it can take from a day to a good weekend. make sure you have the parts before your start, it will save you a huge headache. use the SEARCH, this topic can been covered alot.the only problematic thing i can think of is the pilot bushing/bearing, you can get a special tool to pull it out or there are many other creative ways of this. like i said all you need is to search the forum.anyway heres a link of a free repair manual on autozone.com just look through it and it will show you what parts you might needhttp://www.autozone.com/servle...s=012
