Hey, when installing new front struts on a 240 I noticed when almost done top bolts are tightened, you just have 2 main bolts on strut left to attach, get them in there is a lot of play between the strut and knuckle and everything moves around. where do you want to tighten? It seems it would make quite a difference in your camber. Is there some specification on angle it needs to be? does anyone know what im talking about?

here's a pic, excuse the sloppyness. it has pressure pushing outward and you can push like on the top of the brake rotor and it goes it alot and goes to a solid stop, do I tighten here? or with the position it wants to be in?

Well if you put both the bolts in on the steering knuckle it shouldn't move in and out at all.... try that.

Been there done that. Get a set of Ingalls camber bolts for the top holes. That'll fix it and also allow you to adjust the camber. My coilvers were that way too and I just gave full positive camber and tightened them since I have upper camber plates to adjust the camber.
