Yeah, it seems recently my '95 has developed a miss in the engine, and was wondering what could possibly be causing it? I'm hoping it was just bad gas, as it started happening (Or rather, I only noticed, but it's hard not to notice..) after I filled up. Anyways, while idleing, the RPMs will pick up and drop as I'm revving the engine, but never by a large amount..only about 1/2k or so. This is coupled with the car shaking. While driving, the car will "bounce" as if I am letting go and hitting the pedal.

I've checked plugs and wires and they seem to be in good condition. However, I'm not sure of the lifespan of Platinum plugs, as that's what I'm using since those are required. Can anyone help me out here with some diagnostics? Thank you for your time.

well, having similar problems, what i did was regrease the wires, with dieletric grease, then i ended up having 2 change a injector, but b4 u go throwing injectors away use a noid light, or a voltmeter to make sure u get a steady 11-12v also, clean the throttle body, maf, fuel pressure,fuel filter,vaccum leaks are a really good way to lose power so check everything, just be lucky it hasent turned into a overheating gremlin =}

I had a similar problem with both of my s14s. Both times it was a break in the harness, and both times that break was located right where the injector harness curves at the firewall. The first time a shop found it because I didn't know what it was, and it cost $200. I bought my second one with this problem(The guy told me beforehand of course) and I knew instantly what it was. I first started the car, then I tugged on the harness in different places until I felt the car shutter. The I unwrapped that section, restarted the car, and started tugging on smaller groups(5-10) of wires and then kept on until I found the wire. The i went along that wire, pinching with my finger nails until I found exactly where the break was. It took a total of about 3 hours, which included fixing the wire and wrapping it all back up.

Hope this helps
